With the introduction of the Moto 360, Motorola became its name in the smart wearables industry. Motorola revolutionises the industry with its circular smartphone clock that looked like a conventional smartwatch when most businesses were sticking to a square display.
Today, circular shape factors are fairly popular, but Motorola is the first to realise this. The Moto 360 was very competitive and the following year later, not as good as its predecessor, was achieved.
Motorola has put the line on a hiatus and decided to bring it back in 2021 as the best year.
The new Moto 360 (3rd generation) will be unveiled in the coming days, and a Flipkart listing has leaked some of the specifications. The watch will have a gold dial, leather straps, and a high-resolution AMOLED screen.
SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE MOTO 360 (3RD GENERATION)
The upcoming smartwatch will have a 1.2-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 390 x 390 pixels. The screen would also have scratch security, but it is uncertain what technology will be used.
Motorola Watch Features
The watch will have a circular stainless steel dial with two buttons on the right side.
As is customary, the watch will have a slew of health and fitness-related features. The smartwatch also includes heart rate tracking, step counting, calorie counting, and other features. The Motorola smartwatch has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, which is adequate for a device of this size.
The Motorola wearable will have one-day battery life and will charge in 60 minutes. The smartwatch’s power is provided by a Snapdragon Wear 3100 SoC. Flipkart makes no mention of a SpO2 sensor, which will undoubtedly be missed.
The Motorola G360 (3rd generation) will undoubtedly be available in the Indian market through the e-commerce platform. The smartwatch will be available on Flipkart for INR 19,999.
The smartwatch is available in two colours: black and grey. Unfortunately, the launch date is still unknown, but the appearance on Flipkart indicates that it will be available soon.
