Shahid Kapoor borrowed wifey Mira Rajput‘s floral backdrops for 2 years of his blockbuster hit ‘Kabir Singh’ and went with his fans live to Instagram for the Q and A.
The star also spilled secrets out of the sets of “Kabir Singh” from the screaming out of ecstasy fans all over the world, updated the fans’ Jersey, and even revealed that the star awaits a dance movie.
On the occasion of the film’s anniversary Shahid was requested to communicate his message to fans: “Thanks for making my most successful film the most broken and faulty character.” After being requested from the sets for his “fun memory,” Kapoor revealed it when he and the cast fought for the snow.
Recalling that on the day their shooting in Mussoorie was cancelled because of heavy snowfall which had blocked the roads, the actor shares, “we can’t get to the scene and the crew began a snow battle.”
“The hiding place in her hotel was Kiara (Advani) who didn’t want her look to be spoiled. But, with a huge smile on its face, we found out and went to its room and destroyed it.”
Fans asked the actor, too, what Mira’s wife was thinking about his part in the movie. He said, “He was very supporting, after playing the games she rated with her thumbs down.
She was indeed the one who encouraged me to be a part of the film.” Shahid’s film “Jersey,” now scheduled to be released in November, is currently waiting for release.
“Jersey is ready to be released on November 5, which is Diwali week,” he said, confirming that the release is still on track. That’s almost where we’re right now. We expect theatres to be open at that time.
We thought we’d release this movie the latest day and Diwali was thinking it’s the best idea because it’s a family movie.” A fan questioned the star also about his plans to put his fancy soccer in a dance movie on the big screen.
He said that he saw a couple of scripts “I’d love to make a film to dance to. But it didn’t click, I read some scripts.” Shahid will soon break into the digital space with the next OTT project, apart from his large screen ventures.
