Kejriwal Slams LG’s Termination Of Specialists Working With Delhi Govt

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal criticizes Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena for stopping the engagement of specialists and advisors in the Delhi government. He takes to Twitter to express his concerns and questions the motives behind the decision.

Fear of Strangulating Delhi Government Services

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has criticized the decision by Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena to terminate the engagements of 400 specialists working with the Delhi government. Kejriwal questions the motives behind the move and expresses hope for intervention by the Supreme Court.

Kejriwal warns that the termination of specialists will “completely strangulate” the Delhi government and its services. He raises doubts about the LG’s intentions and hopes for intervention from the Supreme Court to overturn the decision.

Mass Removal of Specialists

The Lieutenant Governor approved the termination of engagements for approximately 400 specialists appointed by the Kejriwal government in various departments. The move is based on alleged irregularities in the recruitment process.

Services Department Issues Instructions

In response to the termination, the Services department sends directives to different government departments and agencies to halt the engagement of fellows and advisors without the approval of the LG. The Finance Department is also instructed not to release salaries to those engaged without the LG’s approval.
