Telugu actor Allu Ramesh, known for his comic roles in movies, passed away on Tuesday at the age of 52 due to cardiac arrest. Anand Ravi, a Telugu filmmaker and Ramesh’s close friend, shared the news of his demise on social media. Ramesh had been in his hometown Visakhapatnam at the time of his death. Ravi mourned his friend’s passing and shared a photo of himself with the late actor, calling him his biggest support since day one. Allu Ramesh is survived by his wife and two sons.

Allu Ramesh began his acting career with the 2001 movie Chirujallu and went on to star in many movies such as Tolu Bommalata, Mathura Wines, Veedhi, Blade Babji, and Napoleon. He was last seen in the 2022 film Anukoni Prayanam and had been garnering praise for his role as the lead actress’ father in the TV series Maa Vidakulu.
