The Ring of Honor (ROH) is all about the elite. Yes, you read that correctly. Tony Khan, President, and CEO of AEW announced the acquisition of the Baltimore-based wrestling promotion. In AEW, a new era of honor has begun. When Khan hypes up an announcement, he usually does not appear on television.

Tony has attempted to stay off-screen during Dynamite, Rampage, and pay-per-view events. Khan’s appearance on Dynamite was only the second time he had appeared live in any capacity.

Khan made an appearance on Busted Open Radio today to deliver the news. Tony will personally walk to the ring and make the announcement. AEW fans understand how uncommon that is.

We’re not sure what this means, but we’re guessing that AEW’s promos will now include a lot of ROH footage. Keep an eye on Ringside News for updates!
