Two people died, while 17 others were wounded today in an explosion in Lahore’s Johar Town area, including women and children. The blast site is located near the residence in Lahore, Hafiz Saeed reports.
Everyone who was injured was taken to a local hospital. The nature of the explosion is determined. Operations of rescue are on.

The sound of the blast was so loud according to media reports that it was heard in remote areas. “We could not, to date, determine if a gas pipeline was bursting or a cylinder.
But four people [into the hospital] have been shifted and more injuries are expected,” said the emergency rescue team spokesperson. Pakistani daily reported the arrival of police and bomb disposal teams.
Mudassir Riaz Malik, Deputy Commissioner of the City, directed the corresponding police officers to the incident site. .
