UKSSSC Invites Applications for Group C Posts Including Assistant Accountant, DEO, Officer Assistant III

The Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UKSSSC) has released the notification for Group C recruitment 2025, inviting applications for several posts including Assistant Accountant, Record Keeper-cum-Store Keeper, Officer Assistant III (Accounts), and Cashier Data Entry Operator.

The application process began on April 5, 2025, and will remain open until April 29, 2025 on the official UKSSSC website. A correction window will be available from May 5 to May 7, allowing candidates to make necessary modifications to their applications.

Eligibility Criteria for Group C Posts

Educational Qualifications

• Assistant Accountant: Bachelor’s in Commerce or BBA; Master’s in Accountancy also acceptable.
• Officer Assistant III (Accounts): Bachelor’s in Commerce.
• Record Keeper & DEO/Cashier: Minimum 12th-grade pass from a recognised board.

Typing Proficiency

• A minimum of 4000 key depressions/hour in Hindi is required for all posts except Office Assistant III.
• Office Assistant III requires 6000 key depressions/hour in Hindi.

Age Limit

• Applicants must be aged between 18 and 42 years as of July 1, 2025.
• Age relaxation applies for candidates from reserved categories as per government norms.

Selection Process and Exam Pattern

Candidates will go through a multi-stage selection process:

• Written Examination:
  • Objective type
  • 100 marks
  • 2 hours duration
  • Minimum qualifying marks:
    • 45% for General/OBC
    • 35% for SC/ST
• Typing Test
• Document Verification
• Medical Examination

Pay Scale and Application Fees

• Salary Range: ₹21,700 – ₹94,300 per month (depending on the post).
• Application Fee:
  • ₹300 for General/OBC
  • ₹150 for SC/ST/EWS
