Vaibhavi Upadhyaya, known for her role in the popular television series ‘Sarabhai Vs. Sarabhai’, tragically passed away at the age of 32 in a car accident. The incident occurred in the Banjar region of Kullu, close to Sidhwan, where her SUV fell into a gorge. The accident happened as the car’s driver was navigating a sharp curve.
SP Kullu Sakshi Verma stated that Vaibhavi tried to escape the vehicle through the window and sustained a head injury, which proved fatal. She was immediately taken to Banjar Civil Hospital, where she was pronounced dead by doctors. The car’s driver survived with minor injuries.
Investigation is currently underway to determine if the accident was a result of rash and reckless driving risking life. The police are examining the circumstances surrounding the incident.
