Tamil superstar Vijay’s highly anticipated movie, ‘Leo,’ has been in the spotlight for some time. However, recent incidents have taken a toll on the film’s early morning shows and trailer events in Tamil Nadu. Theatre owners have been forced to take action due to unruly behavior by Vijay’s fans.
Trailer Celebrations Banned
Theatre owners have banned teaser and trailer celebrations in movie theatres after fans vandalized cinema seats and covers during a ‘Leo’ trailer screening in Chennai. This disruptive behavior has led to disruptions in the cinema experience for other patrons.
Government Rejects Early Morning Shows
In addition to the fan-induced chaos, the government has denied permission for early morning screenings of ‘Leo.’ Previously, 4 AM and 7 AM shows were scheduled, but they have been canceled. The film will now only be shown starting at 9:00 AM on October 19, disappointing early-rising fans.
Manobala Vijayabalan Shares Disturbing Images
Film trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan shared images of the damaged cinema seats and covers at Rohini Cinemas in Chennai, where the ‘Leo’ trailer screening took place. He wrote, “Rohini Cinemas completely thrashed by Joseph Vijay fans after #LeoTrailer screening,” highlighting the extent of the destruction.
