Tamil horror movie 3:33 is out. The teaser is out. The film is the debut as lead actor of Sandy, a popular choreographer. In his favourite role, the narrator, he also plays director Gautham Menon.
The teaser begins with the voice of Gautham pointing to a paranormal activity which leads a man to folly. Every day when the clock hits 3:33 am, he’s tortured by a ghost.
The person concerned is tortured by different kinds, including mental trauma. Sandy’s character says, “That ghost even calls me, Dr, to play with it.”
The filmmakers claim that the film was inspired by true events to make the 3:33 plot more credible and appealing. 3:33 seems not to have mixed comedy with horror that has proved profitable at the box office in Tamil Nadu over the past couple of years.
A sort of void in Tamil film had been created by the over-the-top exploitation of the horror-comedy genre for a full-length terrifying horror film. Will this void fill 3:33? We must wait and watch.
We must wait. 3:33 is Nambikai Chandru’s directing debut. It is reported that the director has avoided songs and comedy scenes.
The newcomer Shruti, Reshma Pasupuleti, Rama, Mime Gopi and Saravanan will also be the star.
