Bengal Lockdown ..! The administration of West Bengal under the Mamata Banerjee government has extended its ongoing lockdown for a further 15 days until July 1.
On Monday, a day before the ongoing restrictions are scheduled on Tuesday, the decision to extend the lockdown was announced.
In a further four days before further decisions are taken, the State Government will review the situation. To boost economic activity both public and private offices have been able to resume operations with a staff of 25 percent.
The deadlines were restricted from 10 am until 4 pm in private and corporate offices, and participants would be required to submit an e-pass application.
The order also stated that every production unit and industry can be vaccinated, with masks and with the maintenance of physical distance measures with 50 per cent of its total strength at every shift.
Employers in private offices will arrange for their termination of transportation and obtain e-passes from the Kolkata Police and local government, the Government said yesterday.
