The popular South Indian actor, Chiyaan Vikram, has successfully completed shooting for his upcoming film ‘Thangalaan’. The national-award winning actor took to social media to share the exciting news with his fans. In a post shared on Tuesday evening, Vikram posted a picture featuring himself alongside the film’s director, Pa. Ranjith, and the leading lady, Parvathy Thiruvothu. Another picture revealed Vikram in his character alongside co-star Malavika Mohanan.
A Memorable Journey for Vikram
Expressing his feelings on the completion of the film, Vikram tweeted, “And it’s a wrap!! What a journey!! Worked with some of the most amazing people & had some of the most evocative experiences as an actor. #thangalaan Was it just 118 working days between the first pic & the last. (sic)”. It is evident that the shooting process has been a memorable experience for the actor.

The wrap-up announcement was made in a fun and special manner by the film’s makers. They released a video on social media featuring the cast and crew celebrating the completion of the film. In the video, Vikram appears in a clean-shaven look, sporting a moustache and sunglasses.

Malavika Mohanan, well-known for her role in the blockbuster film ‘Master’ alongside Thalapathy Vijay, plays a significant role in ‘Thangalaan’. After the film’s wrap, she shared a heartfelt note on Instagram expressing her emotions. She stated, “I don’t even know where to begin.. A film that came my way in the most unexpected way at an unexpected time, a film that tested my physical, mental, and emotional endurance in a way nothing ever has, a film where I got to collaborate with some of the most talented artists, not to mention some of my favorites. ‘Thangalaan’ has been one of the most-awaited films in the Chiyaan Vikram’s repertoire. The film’s shooting commenced in 2022 and is set in the pre-Independence era in the Kolar Gold Fields (KGF). Fans were thrilled when the announcement teaser was released last year, along with a special glimpse on Vikram’s birthday.
