The warm summer weather of 2021 is approaching, which means Fortnite developers are bringing surfboards and other fun in-game items to players so they can sunbathe alongside Peely.
Locations of Fortnite Surfboards: How to Find and Use Them in Creative Mode
To access the new in-game surfboard, Fortnite players will need to switch to Creative mode rather than the standard Battle Royale mode.
From here, players can navigate to their toolboxes and find the Surfboard Spawner, which allows loopers to place surfboards wherever they want. Once the surfboards have been placed and spawned, players can approach them and climb aboard by pressing the action button on their controller.
Once Fortnite players have successfully mounted their surfboards, the water will propel them forward or backward. Players can enjoy some summer fun by using the motion of the ocean, but they have the option of an additional boost, similar to driving a boat in Fortnite’s Battle Royale.
Fortnite : Additional Add-ons
Developers have added boats, fishing poles, and fishing zones to Fortnite’s Creative mode, in addition to surfboards. Just hours ago, the official FNCreative Twitter account announced that a Creative contest for players who want to share their summer fun with everyone had begun.
The Summer Creator Callout contest encourages players to enjoy all of the tropical and seasonal items that have been added to the game’s Creative mode. Loopers who create an engaging and enjoyable map for players to play on will be featured in the upcoming Fortnite Summer event.
Epic Games encourages players to think outside the box by creating boat races or fishing competitions on their official page for the Summer Creator Callout contest and all of the new seasonal items to be found in-game.
Loopers who want to be featured in the soon-to-be-announced Fortnite Summer event should fill out the Creative Content Submission form and have their submission ready by June 11th, 2021.
