JoSAA 2025 Counselling to Begin from June 3: Seat Allotment for IITs, NITs, IIITs & GFTIs

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will commence the counselling process for JEE-qualified candidates from June 3. Registrations will be accepted at josaa.nic.in.

JoSAA 2025, the centralized seat allocation authority for engineering admissions across top institutes, will initiate its counselling process on June 3, 2025. Candidates who have qualified JEE Main 2025 or JEE Advanced 2025 can register online at josaa.nic.in for admission into IITs, NITs, IIITs, IIEST Shibpur, and GFTIs.

The counselling includes registration, choice filling, seat allocation, and online reporting, and will be conducted in six rounds.

JoSAA 2025 Eligibility Criteria

  • IIT Admissions: Candidates must qualify JEE Advanced 2025
  • NIT+ System Admissions: Candidates must qualify JEE Main 2025
  • Academic Requirement: Class 12 pass with minimum 75% (or top 20 percentile) for IITs, 60% for other institutes (relaxation for reserved categories)
