Pregnant woman in MOGA arrested by POLICE ain Lande village on alleged murder of her 3-year-old stepson. The police initially registered an investigation under section 174 of the CrPC, following the death of Abhijot Singh (3).
The grandfather Resham Singh who lives in a separate house, a paternal grandfather, claimed his lady’s daughter (second wife for his son), used to be unfavourable to the boy and often beat him.
Following the statement of the grandfather and resident protests, the police sent the autopsy body to register the FIR against Sukhdev Kaur, the child’s second wife, Amarjit Kaur.
Resham Singh told the police in the statement that Sukhdev married Amarjit Kaur, who now has been 8 months pregnant, almost two years ago following the death of Abhijot’s mother.
He also argued that the boy had a poor health, and Amarjit had beaten Abhijot daily.
Resham told him on June 17, that a neighbour informed him that Abhijot was a very bad condition, but that the child was already dead when he reached his son’s house.
Resham argued that Amarjit was probablely unable to love the child because he intended in Abhijot’s name to transfer his house (where the accused lived).
Under Section 302 of the IPC (killer) at Smalsar, an Amarjit Kaur FIR was registered Smalsar Police Services Inspector, Iqbal Singh, SHO, said that the woman was arrested and admitted to having slapped the child several times, following the wall: “The case is being investigated.
The boy used to feel uncomfortable, and he sometimes fell / urinated on the bed that irritated the woman. Grandpa still tests the angle of property claimed. Autopsy is waiting for the report.
The lady was detained. When the incident occurred on June 17, his husband was not at home. He’s a wager every day.”
