Late at night around 1:30 am in New Rajguru Nagar, Ludhiana, Punjab, a shocking heist took place at the chest center of CMS securities. Approximately 8-10 robbers looted Rs 7 crore in cashfrom the security firm’s office. Mandeep Singh, Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana, provided the information regarding the incident. The robbers not only locked up the security personnel and the rest of the staff in a room but also broke their mobile phones. After securing the cash, the robbers fled the scene by putting the cash in a van. To avoid detection, they disconnected the security sensors and also took the DVR of the CCTV system.
Security Lapse and Negligence
According to Commissioner Mandeep Singh, the entire case of cash was left on the floor instead of being locked in the chest when the robbers arrived. The police suspect negligence on the part of the company, and they believe that someone known to the firm could be involved. This incident highlights a significant security lapse on the part of the company.
Recovery of Van and Weapons

The police have discovered an unattended cash van parked at Mullapur Dakha on the Ludhiana to Moga road. Along with the van, two weapons were also found. Authorities are currently verifying if this is the same van that was used during the robbery. However, no cash has been found inside the van.
