Yami Gautam came back to Mumbai and the new floated her charm in fans. As she impressed everyone with her sartorial after-marriage style, this is an unseen insight into her marriage rituals.
After their marriages, Yami Gautam, newlywed, laid up in a magnificently green saree, shared an invisible image of her sister Surilie’s rituals. Surilie, helping her sister, had titled the candid moment: “Joy in your lovely sister dressing up.”
In a private ceremony in their farmhouse in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh on June 4 Yami Gautam binds the node with filmmaker Aditya Dhar. Yami Gautam wore traditional maroon silk sari for her 33-year-old mom for her dreamy wedding ceremony, whose cloth featured a complex ornament of gold.
She completes the bridal saree with her mother’s grandmother, Himachali Nath, who was again given to her by her grandmother. She’s also a matching dupatta, and an exquisite Pahaadi, Nath.
Yami Gautam chose to make herself while her hair was done by her doting sister Surilie Gautam to keep her wedding low-key and minimalist. Yami Gautam and Aditya Dhar had told a surprise social media post to fans about their wedding.
“In today’s intimate wedding ceremony we tied the node to our family’s blessings. With our immediate family, we were very private people and celebrated this happy opportunity.
“We look for all of your blessings and good wishes as we embark on a journey of friendship and love,” he told Instagram.
Aditya called ‘Uri:The Surgical Struck’ to his shootings, but he was also in love with Yami Gautam, the film’s lead lady. A source had previously told ETimes when spilling the beans on their romance, “Sparks flew in ‘Uri’s sets almost on the first day.”
They may still deny that they were in love since their ‘Uri’ days, but the fact remains that they don’t like to engage in any PDA, which is why no one from the ‘Uri’ unit was aware of their feelings for each other.
