In a remarkable achievement, the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s S. P. Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR) has once again secured the top position among Indian business schools in the prestigious Financial Times Masters in Management (MiM) global rankings for 2023. SPJIMR’s global rank stands at an impressive 40th, solidifying its reputation for academic excellence.
Consistent Excellence
This accolade marks the fourth consecutive year that SPJIMR has maintained its position among the top 50 business schools worldwide. SPJIMR’s unwavering commitment to providing quality education is evident through this consistent recognition.
Indian B-Schools on the Rise
Out of the numerous Indian institutions considered, SPJIMR is one of just two to secure a coveted spot within the top 50 globally. IIM Ahmedabad, another prestigious institution, closely follows at the 43rd position. This recognition highlights the growing international prominence of Indian B-schools, cementing their place on the global stage.
Measuring Success
The FT MiM rankings take into account various factors, including “Alumni Career Progress” (55%), which assesses post-program alumni success, “School Diversity” (22%), evaluating inclusivity and diversity within the institution, and “International Experience & Research” (23%), highlighting global exposure and research contributions. Notably, SPJIMR also secured the eighth-place global ranking in the “Careers Service” criterion, underscoring its effectiveness in supporting student placements and fostering exceptional career opportunities for graduates.
A Testimony to Excellence
SPJIMR Dean Prof. Varun Nagaraj expressed his satisfaction, stating, “It’s gratifying to be recognized for our work in making a positive impact on business and society. This recognition by FT is a testament to the collective efforts of our faculty, participants, alumni, and our many corporate and NGO partners.”
